FOOD, THOUGHTS, PHOTOS, TRAVEL
The more I travel, the more I see, the calmer I become, more insightful, more curious. The meaning of the word “privilege” shifts and changes.
Foreign food, nature, worship and customs are great givers of a wider perspective. Unassuming teachers of patience, tolerance and consideration.
I am incredibly fortunate that regular travel has become a part of my career. Capturing and documenting parts of it afford me a personal fulfilment that keeps my love of the photographic medium strong and versatile.
Local food and meal times are my favourite thing to photograph whilst travelling.
Food reaches across cultural barriers and societal differences. It doesn’t give a shit about politics and religion. In my opinion it’s one of the purest forms of connection we can experience no matter where in the world we are or come from.
“Travel is about the gorgeous feeling of teetering in the unknown.” - Anthony Bourdain
