In July 2023, I was invited to judge and photograph the finalists of the 2023 Diageo World Class India finals in Delhi.
India has always been at the very top of my travel bucket list ever since reading Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram as a teenager.
Due to pre-existing travel commitments I was unable to extend my stay past the 4 event days of World Class which meant an in-and-out trip on a pretty tight itinerary. However, the Tulleeho team organised a quick visit to Old Delhi on a quiet Sunday for breakfast at Shyam Sweets, a 100 year old Delhi institution.
